This works for me:

adding this line to .xinitrc

"touch /tmp/emelfm_loaded;mydsl-load /cdrom/my-dsl/gtk2-0705.dsl"
(just before the last line in .xinitrc which is: "exec fluxbox 2>/dev/null")
