apt get doesnt work for me for some reason any alternatives?
Did you "enable apt"? Apt is not installed in a standard DSL system, but there is a menu item provided with which to automatically download and install it.
If you find it still doesn't work, you might want to switch from using busybox to GNU utils. There is a menu item for this as well (Upgrade to GNU Utils) .
