Other Help Topics :: no make command

I tried to install the make command using synaptic but I keep getting errors and it doesn't end up getting installed. So I guess I was wondering how to get around that.

Try the gcc1.dsl extension from the repository.
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/mydsl/
I believe this includes gcc, g++ and make.
