I can see it, but when I "open" it, i just get the system type files...another thing to mention, I put it on the HD, and I have a CD burner and ROM

Well thats all you'll ever get from the cd cause it never changes and is loaded into ram. What are you trying to get off of the CD?

you might try this at the boot prompt

dsl toram

this will load dsl into ram and allow you to access your cd-rom and the cd inside

otherwise the cd is locked and you can't even eject it or use your cdrom drive.
