Other Help Topics :: Very newbish question

I'm new to this whole linix/portable OS thing and I'm having trouble installing DSL. in the documentation it says to burn dsl-x.x.x.iso to the CD if I want to make a bootable CD, but in version 1.4 I can't find any file by that name, so do I just burn the un-compressed folder dsl-1.4 or is there a specific file in there I need to burn?

http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/current/
and download the dsl-1.4.iso file
than use your cd burning program and burn the image. There should be an option such as "record cd from cd image" or "burn image".

Thanks, I just found out that WinRar can unzip .iso files and that was confusing me.

You can burn by Nero without unziping.
Start Nero>Burn Image File>and find your .rar file> burn it.
