FYI, If you want to use a graphical tool to burn CDs, try installing the "gcombust.dsl" extension. It is not as easy to use as the "k3b" program that comes with knoppix but in my opinion it is easier to use than bashburn or the command line (although bashburn is cool if you have to work in text mode and the command line will work fine if you do some homework first). You can try the gcombust autodetect to try and find your CD-RW drive. If not, open an xterm and type: "sudo cdrecord -scanbus | more" and it should tell you the address of your CD burner. Good Luck. |
