Other Help Topics :: 0.8.3 making a boot floppy

I am looking for the boot.img file to make a boot floppy. IS there on on this version , or how do I create one?
Use the 0.8.0 boot floppy

the 0.8.x only changes minor scripting and doesnt affect the kernel or initrd load from the 0.8.0 floppy

So, I have to download both ISO files???
We are discussing making boot floppies here ..
There are no " .iso's "  involved ..

Perhaps you are meaning the boot.img's in the current area of the repository ..

One is the boot-0.8.0.img - this is the boot floppy image to use
to run DSL from CD or poorman's installs ..
One is the bootusb-0.8.img - this is for running DSL from a USB device,
like a pendrive or a usb storage device ..

You can find them both here ..
