I can make a screen snapshot with x window snapshot (in the fluxbox-menu) but where/how is it saved?

Sorry about the question... XWUD sucks... I will use Xpaint instead..

It writes to a file called myscreen.xwd in you home dir.

It works OK, but if your gonna do anything with it,
your gonna end up opening gimp or something to convert it
to a useful jpeg or tif anyway...

Since it is such a light app, You can assign the exec to a
hot key, and have " one button - click-n-drag" screenshots.

It's OK for a quick snapshot...
