I finaly got it working (deleted ~/mozilla! :-( ) and now it works...

I am happy though, thanks for the info! (now i need to start installing my FF-extensions/bookmarks/preferences again)

I finaly know now what i was doing wrong.... (i have got it all running smoothly now!)

I have an firefox extension running (agent switcher) which makes jave/ff crash whenever i go to a site with active java. (because FF then simulates that it's THE INTERNET EXPLORER). I removed it and now it all works fine..
