I installed Synaptice and downloaded the updates i need. When I got trough, my icons had disappeared. I've tried everyting. How do I get them back?? Thansk for any helpl

Hmm...

My guess is that your Synaptic icon file is missing.

Try going into /home/dsl/.xtdesktop and delete the synaptic.lnk file.

Then turn off icons and then restart icons from the fluxbox menu.

cbagger01 is probably correct.

Having an image file like a .png or .gif file in .xtdesktop without an .Ink file is OK but the reverse is not true. If you have an .Ink file that is not associated with an image file such as a .png it will prevent all of your icons from showing up.
