Other Help Topics :: Noob - Modifying What DSL Boots to



Thanks skaos.  I found a remastered version of DSL that has just mozilla, and a user account with access to mozilla only at boothbox.sourceforge.net.  This will really help me get started.  Also user clivesay has been a lot of help and is getting me started on remastering DSL to my liking.
If one does not boot toram, then the cdrom drive will spin every once in a while as you use Firefox to surf the web. That means a small delay. But, it can crash every so often if you boot toram, and there is no cdrom access allowed after the initial boot up. Have to test it both ways, to see how the users like it.
