Hey guys, I have the first version of DSL, but the mydsl-load doesnt work for me.
This app is not avaliable for the first version ?
Can I download it and make it work in my version ?

I have in my Toshiba 2.4ghz only DSL, but I never tried to burn a cd on it. If i can't install the dsl app, can someone explain to me how i download and install the new version only upgrading, or maybe writing in a cd ?

Wow. Very patient you have been.

Burning a cd. Okay.

First, open an xterm and type "cdrecord -scanbus"

That will show you the address of your cd burner. Something like "0,0,0".

Then do "cdrecord dev=<address you got above> speed=16 /path/to/dsl-1.0rc2.iso"

You may have to su to root to do this. But when it's done, you have a new, much nicer, version of DSL.
