Other Help Topics :: MPPE support

Hello,

I would like a livecd with mppe support (for VPN purposes). This is not standard in the last release.

After a short google sesion I know that I had to recompile the kernel. While trying to compile the kernel I get a lot of errors (make is not recognized, apt-get libc-dev --> broken links, ...).

Is there a way to enable mppe support without recompiling the kernel?
