Flash memory devices like USB drives should not be used for a hard drive install or a loopback install.
Your flash drive will fail after too many writes. Hard drive/loopback installs do many writes due to swap partitions or swap files and web browser caches and logfiles.
If you want to do a hard drive install, do it to a real hard drive and not a USB flash drive.
yeah i know its just more of a proof than anything else.
i just like seeing if i can make things work.
it also heps me learn alot of the linux booting process and lilo and grub config's and how linux see's and handles devices.
