Other Help Topics :: start sshd at boot

i'm racking my brain here.  i've googled until i curse.  how in the hell do i get sshd to start automatically at boot?  or any other program/process for that matter?
the command is:

sshstart

put it in:

bootlocal.sh

I did a search after pressing that neato search button in the upper right hand corner of this browser screen.
I used:

sshd AND boot

as my search items with:

"this month and older"

selected at the bottom, then i clicked:

Search!

and this is what i found:

http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....nd+boot

Good luck!

EDIT: you can put other neat things in 'bootlocal.sh' as well.

thank you very much!  i'm now calming down.  :-)
believe it or not i did a search in this forum but obviously i didn't give the proper search criteria.
i appreciate such a quick response!

If you happen to be using a liveCD without a backup, you can boot with "dsl ssh" to start it automatically.
And if you use the frugal install, you need to add it during the install process (or re-create your lilo.conf file and add it in the APEND line and then run lilo again).
