dsl wants password. is there passowrd to access root priviledges. i'm running it as a test at work on win98.

Hi whale!

If you are working from the terminal just start your command with sudo and you're giving a root command. There is also a Root Terminal under Xshells. If you want to start a program as if you were root open up the run command option in the menu and start the program with sudo xxxx. There is also the option to open up emelfm with root access and starting an extension. That will be as starting something as root. There are other options to but hopefully theese will cover your needs.
