Other Help Topics :: Sound card problem

HI,

I've installed DSL on my p 166 MMX, everything is great but for the sound part, I tried sndconfig and I can hear Mr Trovalds's voice, but when I try to play a CD I just dont hear any sound. I checked the master volume and it is at max.

You need to find what the chipset is for the card. Once you have that, search the forum for your card. There are alot of sound threads here. If you still have trouble, post your chipset here.
