Ok, well I want to create my own custom DSL CD that will have any custom extensions i download already on it and be able to install to the HDD with all these extra extensions as well.

I've found a tutorial of how to do this in linux, but have not yet found one on how to do it from windows.  Is it possible?

I'm only doing this because for some reason DSL likes to crap itself after installing a heap of extensions.  For example some of dekstop icons will dissapear, MyDSL will stop working (it will load up a window with nothing in it) and it only seems to happen after installign some extensions and I seriously am a complete newb to linux and its probably something I'm doing.

But anyway, a way to make a custom DSL CD in windows?
You mentioned that "DSL likes to crap itself after installing a heap of extensions".  Most probably you were trying to install multiple "red" dsl extensions that can overwrite each other.

As for doing the custom DSL CD on Windows, you will need an ISO CD image editor to move your extension files inside the base DSL ISO file.  Then burn the image into the CD.  That's it.
Also, be sure you are using the latest versions of extensions,
that are downloaded from a very current mirror..

Earlier versions of extensions may not have the owners/perms
correct, as there have been many changes to them since
the beginning releases of 1.0 +

I have tried my extensiond move into Iso file. and after burn with on CD-RW was the cd not  he same boot cd .

I canīt boot from this cd.

How did you make this "operation" :D  

I burn with nero and iso creator is WINISO

Using DSL is quick, accurate, and native to what you are trying to make.

Note:
Many CDROM drives won't boot from a CDRW..
Most all will boot from a CDR..  
Test first by booting from the same drive that made the CDRW.
