Other Help Topics :: Make writable system on a DSL CD-RW

Hi, I'm kind of new with Linux, and I was wondering if it was possible to make a CD-RW of DSL and write to it if I put it in a CD burner. That way I could carry my programs and files around wherever I go. Is this possible?
