Other Help Topics :: Is there a file than manage what are the icons?

I would like to know how to add or delete icons on my desktop and may be interesting to fix the place of every icon so i can have an ordered desktop.

Please, help me. Thanks.

There is a search button at the top of the page.
There is a documentation link on the main page.

Look in /home/dsl/.xtdesktop (it's normally hidden, so press the "H" in emelfm)
.lnk files are the link.  Should be fairly obvious what they do when you check one out in beaver or something like that.  If you remove a lnk file, the icon won't appear.  Word of caution though, if you stuff up your naming or somewhere, no icons will appear, and you have to try to track it down.  So edit one at a time (click "no idons" then "fully enhanced" to refresh the icons)
You can drag the icons around to roughly reorganise, then go into the lnk files to accurately set the coordinates.

i managed to edit the icons position but i can't still understand how can i eliminate some icons that i don't need. If i remove the .lnk and .png the next time i restart my system, DSL re-create the icons that has been deleted. What can i do? is there a command that can be executed before starting fluxbox that can remove the icons? Thanks...
I think the only way you can do that is to either remaster(!) or make some script that runs before fluxbox launches that will delete the specified files.  Don't ask me how to do that (don't know).  I think it was discussed somewhere along the line in the forum, so if you search you may come across the full answer.
