is this a fluxbox issue ?
can anybody help?

Try Knoppix 3.4 or 3.7 and see what you get with that. Those are big
600+ MB distros, and DSL has been reduced in size, perhaps something has
been omitted, but I am not sure on that. By trying Knoppix, then you have something to work from. You might have to wind up using it.

Will koppix run well on pentium mmx machines with 32-128mb ram?
No way KDE is an option here but knoppix comes with iceWM as well, right?
DSL is a dream running on this kind of hardware..
Just that damn @ button...arg..
I tried Feather Linux 0.7.3.1 and LuitLiunux 0.4 yesternight, they both seemed to have the same problem and they are both based around DSL. Luit uses Xfce though, so i cant be a fluxbox issue.
I had succsess with Morphix 0.5pre4 litegui running Xfce and firefox 1.0 so i started thinking maybe Firefox is the problem as all the other are running 9.3-8.0.
Well if Morphix work like i hope it will everything is golden, it runs
fast on my Dads celeron634Mhz with 256mb ram, but thats not a
pentium pro with 64mb of ram so we shall wait and l see.
Hope this will be fixed as it keeps me from setting up DSL on public machines and on peoples old boxes.
Found a thread with a German guy having the same problem (using the german keybord).
Its a very small but very critical bug as people cant login to email or write adresses..
why coulden't it have been ^ or something ??

Try booting knoppix 3.7 with the fluxbox window manager and it might run on your computer.
If not, knoppix 3.4 is a better choice.
