Other Help Topics :: KNOPPIX file

Hello,
I'm not familiar with this KNOPPIX file that seems to reside in the ISO. I know that all the files/programs are in this file, but how do I view them? When I do "file KNOPPIX", it says it is a Bourne shell script. So I take a look and walla! It is a shell script. Now how can I edit this so I can "customize" it? Thanks!
