Other Help Topics :: tosmrtbt NIC cards

Can anyone who has used tomsrtbt share what models of nics they have used successfully? I have tried three different one's without success and would like to be able to setup network installs.

3Com 3c905-TX (pci) works

3Com 3c509b (isa) doesnt work. i think because of plug and pray settings

unkown with intel 82558b (pci) doesnt work

I have a 3C905-TX but it wasn't recognized from what I can tell. Do I have to do something to get it operating?

first time i test it dhcp did not work
ifconfig sayed ip:1.1.1.1
i had to set the ip myself.

second time ( in another slot) it started, got its ip by dhcp

i used tomsrtbt-2.0.103

I tried booting with that card. When the card is recognized the irq is 0. I get a warning 'IRQ 0 is unlikely to work'.

Any ideas?
