Try this. Open an xterm and type:

sudo su
modprobe CDCEther
netcardconfig
exit

and see if it works.

it's asking all kinds of ip adresses now, and I don't know what to fill in! Where can I find thos adresses?
If you are running MS Windows 2000/XP on the computer, you can go into a Windows Command prompt and type:

ipconfig

and then write down the information.  Then boot into DSL and enter these numbers.

You could also replace the netcardconfig command with:

ifup -a

and see if that works instead.

I tried what you said(both commands) but dillo still says Error: DNS can't solve www.damnsmalllinux.org!
