Try this. Open an xterm and type:
sudo su
modprobe CDCEther
netcardconfig
exit
and see if it works.
it's asking all kinds of ip adresses now, and I don't know what to fill in! Where can I find thos adresses?
If you are running MS Windows 2000/XP on the computer, you can go into a Windows Command prompt and type:
ipconfig
and then write down the information. Then boot into DSL and enter these numbers.
You could also replace the netcardconfig command with:
ifup -a
and see if that works instead.
I tried what you said(both commands) but dillo still says Error: DNS can't solve www.damnsmalllinux.org!
