Other Help Topics :: USB flash drive boots but no RW?

I think thats probably my best option.  I have a 256 MB Flash drive, so I have enough space to make one about 230 and the remaning 20 or so for backup.  Think that will be enough?  I've been looking around at some of the other distros out there and they don't seem to have as much functionality of DSL...so I'm gonna get this to work!  Thanks for all your help so far.
If you are using 0.8.2 or better then even using the special usb boot floppy you are able to backup to the single partition of a pendrive.
When prompted simply use sda1
or appropriate. Do not use /dev/sda1. See I saved you 5 keystrokes and the making of a another partition. One thing nice about pendrive is it is so easy to "upgrade" just copy the knoppix/knoppix file and you are good to go with the latest version of DSL.
