I have three mice attached to my machine, when I run DSL, none of them will work, what-so-ever.
I am using an ASUS A7n8X-E Deluxe mobo, Logitech Mx700 Cordless Optical mouse, Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 Optical, and a old school Logitech ball mouse made for a Toshiba computer.

Is there a way to fix this, or is it a problem with DSL not liking my mobo?

The :"cordless" and "wireless" will probably need for you to install or compile
drivers for them, since they are not typical USB/PS2 devices..

Is the "ball" mouse a serial mouse ?

and is your install a LiveCD/poorman's , HDInstall , or frugal install ?

LiveCD (Bootable)
The ball mouse is PS2.

hmm, i had a M$ intellimouse Exploder 2.0 back in the day, worked fine with DSL...

okay, dumb question, do these mice work with other OSes or distributions?

also, make sure you are plugging the mouse )optical and ps/2) into the proper ps/2 port.
The mouse and keyboard will fit into the wrong one, and windows has a workaround, but *nix assumes the end user knows the right one ^_^.

Hell, stranger things have happened...

The mouse and keyboard are in the proper places.
I have the ball mouse in the PS2 port, and the Intellimouse and Mx700 in USB.
I really do think it might be my mobo, because I tried using Mandrake with it, and it wouldn't even boot. :|
