Other Help Topics :: Sound card

I am running an old NEC 5080x laptop with DSL 0.7.2 and have run into an issue configuring my soundcard with "sndconfig" About half way through I get an error message at the bottom of the bash window that says "segmentation fault" and it stops there. My sound card will usually configure with "sndconfig" in RedHat with any problem. Any thoughts on a fix for this?
