Other Help Topics :: So why 50Mb?

I'm just wondering why 50Mb was picked; this isn't a plea to make it bigger.

Is that the most a business-card CD will hold? It seems like an odd number to choose, given the whole base-2 thing.

Please read DSL Wiki first. Business-Card-CD is 50MB.
