Hello guys , i would like to know some of the configuration methods.

1.) How to change the resolution , i want to use 800x600
2.) from gui jumps to texmode , from textmode jumps to gui
3.) enabling icons on the desktop , mine not showing up even after i used the enhanced desktop and icon only options.

1) Edit /home/dsl/.xserverrc, or run the xvesa script from the menu.
2) Boot into runlevel 2 (boot option "dsl 2"). Then use the command "su dsl", followed by "startx". Your other 3 virtual terminals should be available with Alt+Ctrl+F<number>.
3) There are a few things that might cause this problem, the most common being a broken *.lnk file in /home/dsl/.xtdesktop

Me using dsl on hdd. So there is no option for the dsl 2 ... it will straight away goes into X when login... for now i just kill the startx to get into textmode, is it a right way? One more thing is how to have many console when i'm in textmode ... like i want to use lynx , nirc and some other stuffs on textmode... how to starts another console and shift between the consoles? Thank you
