hi,

i created a swap partition (0x82) with fdisk, but DSL doesnt recognize it (total swap = 0kb in the system stats). can anybody help?

try cfdisk

You not only need to create the partition but also run the command:

mkswap /dev/xxx

Then DSL will automatically use it with each boot.
