Other Help Topics :: Laptop Fan always on

Hi have a Averatec 3150H and it boots up perfectly, it even auto configured my wireless cardbus card to use the wireless network!!! i LOVE IT. the only thing i have a problem with now is the fan is constantly on at maximum fan speed.. i was wondering if there was a way to configure it so it turns on when the fan is needed. much thanks and appreciation for a solution :-)

p.s. i dont know if anyone else has this problem wtih their laptop, i searched the forum but didn't find any matches, maybe i missed it and someone can reply back and guide me so i can enjoy this linux with peace and quiet :-P
