User Feedback :: IBM 486 with 8 mb ram

I have a IBM 486 with 8 mb ram.
How to use damn small linux on this machine?

486DX
16MB memory is the very minimum.+ swapfile
32MB memory recommended.

However,i have installed freedos in this machine,freedos permit me surf the web and read email in this old machine

You can try, lets us know.
At boot prompt:

boot dsl 2 mem=8M

FreeDOS is very nice. I have lua on my freedos diskette.

What is "lua"?
Freedos work perfectly in all computer,from 8086,8088,286 and higher processor.
