I found that Knoppix 3.4 can select kernel version (2.6 or 2.4) by a cheat code. It is a good idea.
For DSL, I found that some myDSL extension can run in kernel 2.4 only.
I understand that DSL-N is kernel 2.6 based, but it would be great if DSL-N is added with kernel 2.4.26 and has a cheat code for kernel selection.
That means DSL-N project can run parallel with DSL project.

Thanks Laughing

jimihieu,

Sorry, This place is DSL-N Ideas and Suggestions
Post your ideas and application suggestions. If you believe that DSL-N could be improved by doing XWZ this is the place to post.

I'm not asking the question. It is a suggestion to the DSL-N owners.
I think this is the right place to post.

I think you misunderstood jimihieu. I think he accidently posted, maybe in the wrong place, and was trying to delete his own message, but couldn't figure it out, so was asking the moderators for his own message to be deleted.

Btw, you can't delete ur own message, and afaik, the moderators never go to the hassle.

Ur absolutely right. You have every right to make a suggestion.

DSL and DSL-n can run parrallel, they just come on different CDs.

I like your suggestion tho. I can see the possibilities.....
