Just wanted to pop in and say thanks. Been using DSL for quite some time and loving it. Have it frugal installed on my laptop, got the wireless card to work eventually (current versions of dsl anyway), got sound working, etc...

Figured to give -N a shot today. Been sitting here dicking with wireless card settings for over an hour now to no avail. Keep on fiddling with ndiswrapper, cause that's how I got it to work finally in DSL. As a last resort I finally tried just configuring the blasted thing on a fresh reboot without ndiswrapper, and lo, it just worked. Out of the box, so to speak. Tres Gruvy.

Not sure about Mozilla though. I never really liked it anyway, am a Firefox person. So far Mozilla won't do anything, just sits there resolving host... Downloaded firefox 1.5 uci and am posting from that, so I know the 'net is there.

My only request so far, get rid of mozilla and use a late model firefox (but I am a bit biased). Otherwise I'm stoked. Thanks!

Off to fiddle with the audio now, wish me luck.

-edit-

Dicked with audio for some time. Kept jumping through similar hoops it took to get it running under DSL. Finally found (in this forum) a one-liner that puts audio up and running. This DSL-N is too damned simple. It's confusing me. Things just work and I don't know how to handle it!

Off to Ideas and Suggestios forum (not that I've much to say)
