The DSLN cd will not boot on two different computers I tried. I burned the iso using k3b on Ubuntu, once using "auto" and again using "DAO". When trying to boot the cd I just get an error message referring to hexadecimal numbers. (NO, I didn't write it down, I was so disgusted that I threw away the cds.) Has anyone else had a similar experience with DSLN?

Sad

I have not heard of this type problem except with a bad burn of the CD. This is not to say that is your problem but I am not aware of another issue like yours with either DSL or DSL-N. I do use K3b to burn my CDs under SuSE. I am doing this for memory but I use either settings or tools --> burn CD and set the type to ISO.... Sorry I can't give you exact details as I am not setting at my SuSE computer.

Those hexidecimal numbers signify that you had a bad download. The numbers need to match up. Download the latest Alpha again and make sure to get it all. Don't get disgusted. This is an Alpha release for testing purposes only. There is likely to be stuff broken.
