Hello,
I am trying to use a 3COM PCMCIA Office Connect 3CRGPC10075 (chipset Prism54, PCIid 11ab:1faa) on my laptop (Compaq 100) with DSL-N 0.1RC3.
I followed the many instructions I found on the net about ndiswrapper: I first install the driver with
ndiswrapper -i
Then I check it with
ndiswrapper -l
and the driver is loaded:
Installed Drivers:
mrv8335x driver installed, hardware present
Also the command modprobe ndiswrapper works, and inserting the card the led turns on, but iwconfig shows nothing.
Looking at dmesg I saw:
ndiswrapper version 1.14 loaded (preempt=yes,smp=yes)
ndiswrapper: driver mrv8335x (3Com,05/19/2005,3.1.1.10) loaded
PCI: Unable to reserve mem region #1:10000@8000000 for device 0000:02:00.0
ndiswrapper (start_pdo:321): couldn't request PCI regions: fffffff0
ndiswrapper: probe of 0000:02:00.0 failed with error -22
Can someone help?
