Hi there,

I followed the guide 'how to install on usb thumb drive w/o cd'.
Instead of a thumb drive its a usb-connected 60gb hdd but i have one partition of the 3gb with fat32, so then i followed the instructions to enable me to boot dsl-n, syslinux works and in the end, this bit came up:

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,3)

The mistake is my own doing.. Smile

Forgot to change isolinux.cfg to syslinux.cfg
