Can I save a machines state (basically an image of the harddrive), and have that state loaded evertime the machine boots? Somelike like the deepfreeze for windows program?

I have done some searching and found that filetool.sh does something like this, but not exactly what I want as from what I see you have to manually tell it when to load/backup.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

load and backup are automatic once established.
As a liveCD or emulation thereof, DSL-N like DSL is targeted to be a nomadic OS and therefore assumes nothing about the host hardware.
It is up to the user to decide and set these options.
